Layering means wearing two scents together. With Onuvee, you roll one of the three oils on your wrists and neck, then spray the 30mL perfume over it. The oil changes how the perfume smells.

Each oil is chosen from the same scent family as its perfume, so they sit well together. A heady jasmine oil and a warm saffron oil over the same floral perfume smell noticeably different, and neither clashes with it.

You can. Fragrance has no strict rules. The oils inside a set are chosen to go with that set's perfume, so mixing across sets may or may not work. Try it on one wrist first.

EDP stands for eau de parfum, a stronger concentration than eau de toilette, typically 15-20% fragrance oil in an alcohol base. The 30mL bottle in every set is an EDP.

A roll-on perfume is an oil-based fragrance in a small bottle with a roller ball applicator. Because it contains no alcohol, it behaves differently from a spray: it sits closer to skin, releases more slowly, and holds well on hair and fabric.

The EDP typically lasts 6-8 hours on skin depending on skin type, humidity, and activity level. The roll-on oils tend to last longer on hair and fabric than alcohol-based sprays. Reapplying an oil through the day refreshes the scent without overwhelming it.

Store away from direct sunlight and heat, which both degrade fragrance over time. A drawer or cabinet at room temperature is ideal. Avoid bathrooms where humidity and temperature fluctuate. Properly stored, the EDP will last 2-3 years and the roll-on oils 1-2 years.

Fragrance notes are the layers of scent that emerge and fade at different rates after application. Top notes appear immediately and last 20-30 minutes, typically fresh or citrus. Middle notes emerge as top notes fade and form the heart of the fragrance. Base notes are the foundation (musks, resins, heavy woods) that persist longest.

This is olfactory adaptation: your brain filters out constant smells, including your own scent. It doesn't mean the fragrance has faded, and people around you can still smell it. Applying more doesn't fix it. Rotating your scents does.
